It's a Doggie's Life!!!

When we first brought Gabbana home, we knew she was going to be trouble (in the cutest , possible ways). From day one she never coward, not even when spoken to in a stern voice ...she just looked at you bounced  and started a game of catch me if you can. Picture two adults and another Yorkie (Dolce) giving chase to this  petite ball of hair. Courageous and smart ... she quickly learned that only someone her size could fit under the sofa and behind it ... and whenever she has something like a sock or Dolce's toys you can bet she'll go to her  safe place.
Thankfully Dolce is a big boy now - a whole 3 years old and is adorably sweet... he tolerates gives in when  Gabbana is digging through his toy box, or takes naps in his cabin, and goes for his tail or legs. He does let her know who the boss is ... (and Gabbana being a girlie girl, lets him believe He is..lol)

For all her feistiness and bark, when it came to Stella (our Yellow lab) Gabbana would bark up a storm than runaway from Stella. Now that Gabbana is 5 months Stella is fair game with Gabbana.

Stella looks at her two pint size furbaby-siblings as both older sister and entertainment as they chase her around or climb on her with lots of paws and licks.
When it's outside playtime, Gabbana follows Stella around .....

paying attention to Stella's every move....

One of Stella's favourite things to do - is roll around on the grass....

No surprise that after 3 years Dolce also likes this past time...

as Dolce and Stella exchange paw tales ... Gabbana is in the background trying to figure out this rolling on the grass thing!... They are a joy to watch and bring much happiness to our lives and home.

March Tea Trolley and Two Special Guests ...

If you live in the GTA , especially north of Hwy 7 can you believe the snow and cold temps we had last week? I know it's normal for March ~ but with the mild temps we have been spoiled with and little snow I can't help but be shocked. Despite the cold the sun was out ... and with the hopes that mild spring like temps will return, the tea trolley has been moved from my writing area to the kitchen sitting area.

Welcome to afternoon tea, my friends ~ I hope you enjoy the snow view out the terrace doors, while cozy warm inside sipping on some warm oolong tea.

You can curl up in a chair, and take a few moments to relax...

The pink tulips will indulge our dreams for warm temps....
I love the delicate scallops on the petal edges ... and the touch of white that graces the pink petals. Our home assistant says they have a pretty light scent ... spring fresh, sadly I'm not smelling them, hopefully my smelling sense will kick in, so I too can breathe in their spring fresh fragrance!!

I chose these teacups today, for their colourful flowers, a garden in our hands...

These lovelies really do warm up the insides on this cold day....

The teacups are hand made by Fifth Avenue Collection

Truly a garden in our hand ... the brilliance of the flowers against the gold back ground....

Mr. G. has offered to serve us our tea today ....

Since we are all watching our waist lines, an apple strudel has been sliced into bite size, so no guilt.. enjoy!!

Tea is served!

Hopefully we'll be blessed with these lovelies in the garden soon....
Hmmm... looks like there are some bunny ears in that bowl... could it be Mr. Easter Bunny ?

Look who has joined us for tea this afternoon, little Dolce, he loves sitting by the tea trolley...

Thank you for stopping by for tea ...

I'll be joining these fabulous hostesses for tea, hope to see you there...

Dolce Escapes to Cottage Country

My cousin Kobi spends the winters in Florida and the summers at the cottage in The French River. So, Mommy and Daddy decided to take a drive up to spend some time with his Mommy and Daddy (Auntie and Uncle M , to me). It was too hot for Stella to go (her crate would have to go in the back of Daddy's truck) so she went to visit the children and grandma M in the city. Since I'm little and my car seat fits in the A/C part of Mommy's SUV, I got to go too!!!

Here I am in my cottage attire...

Kobi - thought I should tough it out and be a doggie...

I think it's a bit windy Kobi!!!

Woof! Woof ! but our Daddys' are catching up... Mommy go faster...

Woof ! There goes Daddy and Uncle M. in the other boat...

Ah finally at the cottage. We have to boat in, cause it's on its own island.

Come on lets play!!! Woof! Woof!

Kobi is always ready to play he is only 7 months old...

Are you sure it's ok to be outside by ourselves? With no leash?

Woof! Woof! Kobi and I ran all over the island ... he showed me where go ...

I got to explore on my own too!!!

Ok ..Mommy .... I'll keep my hat and goggles on ...

NOT!!! ................Lets go Kobi.....Run..

Hey, what are you doing in there?

Hmmm... I've never been in a lake before....

That was fun!!! and it felt really good...

But I'm only going in up to my belly!

WOOF! WOOF! I want a lake ... can we get one for our country home?

What a view of that lake!!! ....
