The week-end started early around the HHL home. Dolce and Gabbana eagerly awaited the arrival of a special guest to our home ...
Miss Ava from Ava Grace's Closet came by for a visit with her mama ... while the little ones played we enjoyed a cup of black tea (Casablanca) from Mariage Freres and some scrumptious, sinfully delicious cannoli - which Ava and her mama picked up before setting on their drive to our country home.
The morning went by so quickly ...and with so much entertainment from the little ones ... I forgot all about capturing our tea in photos. The next day I did enjoy some Early Grey black tea from Harney & Sons with a a cannoli (or two) from the previous day. These were still as yummy the next day!
I used the same teacup ... the Lady Carlyle by Royal Albert.
Thank you Susan ... these were still heavenly the next day. And the fresh bakery bread - gone that same day!!!
With all the excitement of company ... Dolce and Gabbana were ready to head out for a drive.
So, off to Yorkdale Shopping Centre ... where furbabies are welcomed.
Everything is starting to look a lot like Christmas ... The Swarovski Crystal tree is breathe taking!
Even Dolce and Gabbana thought so....

That tea party sounds like a good time for all concerned, and goodies left over for the next day, how ideal. The pups look cute in their stroller.
ReplyDeleteLady Carlyle is one of my favorite patterns from Royal Albert. The sweet little pups are such a treasure. Size is not a real factor, we have collies and they think they tiny little playthings, but so easy to love.

I could not stop smiling while reading this post. The dogs are so cute and so is the little girl. Tea party is perfect.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post, Celia, and how wonderful that you got to enjoy a tea with a blogger friend and her little one. I have the Lady Carlyle too and I love it. I don't think I have ever had a cannoli, believe it or not. Your fur babies are so cute and I would love to see that Christmas tree up close and personal! Thank you for joining me for Tea Time and have a lovely week, my friend.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Hope to see you on my blog:)
Dearest Celia,
ReplyDeleteWhat a surprise that Susan with little Ava came to visit. Cute photos with Dolce & Gabbana with Miss Ava. Precious and your tea certainly was delicious even on the next day.
Now all of you have to make it down south when it is sunny again...
Hugs,
Mariette
Isn't it the greatest to meet up with a blogger friend, they are the best ever. The dogs are fabulous in their stroller, how cute. http://texas-tea-party.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteAwww loved this my sweet friend! We can't stop talking about Dolce and Gabbana...I think I've told everyone I know about their little matching pyjamas!
ReplyDeleteWe had such a great time visiting. I think Ava was ready to move right into that adorable guest room. :0 ;)

Dolce and Gabbana the good life! Love that tea cup. The pattern is one of my favorites. Have a wonderful week. Blessings, Martha
ReplyDeleteAlways nice to have tea with a fellow blogger and I think a little one and dogs can definitely entertain for hours on end. A pretty tea cup and decadent treats!
ReplyDeleteGosh, the last time I was at Yorkdale, it was so busy and noisy but at least different stores from the northern malls.
Have a good week Celia.
Precious...all the way around! I love that you shared a lovely afternoon with a blogging friend. Your furbabies looked so precious, all dressed up! Were they in their jammies in the first photo??? That's the cutest thing ever and puts mamas like me to shame. My girls don't wear jammies--but they do have pink, down winter jackets and some pretty Ralph Lauren doggie sweaters. Cleo has a wool blend Christmas sweater she wears every Christmas.
ReplyDeletexoxo.

I stopped by to thank you for your lovely comments on my Not Young, Thin or Rich post. I was truly touched!
ReplyDeleteAnd than to hear you were entertaining the beautiful Susan and Ava! I have been following Susan, since she decided not to to return to work after Ava's birth. What a truly small world, is this, our blogging community.
So happy to have rediscovered your beautiful blog my dear!
Yuuummmmm! My husband would love the cannoli! The Lady Carlyle teacup is so pretty. And the pups are so cute! :-)
