Happy Saturday lovelies, the weather in Toronto has been a cold one, thankfully Mother Nature has spared us the snow (for the time being). I've discovered this past week, with a little Buckley's and a positive attitude you can get through a busy week.

Dearest Celia,
ReplyDeleteWell, glad to read that you landed at the end of the week thanks to your Buckley's and you managed to inject some VERY pleasurable moments with friends and your LOVE!.
That always does the trick and you are very lucky for living in a cosmopolitan city like Toronto. Pieter and I were discussing the uniqueness of Toronto versus e.g. our capital city of Atlanta. Toronto is great for delicious restaurants and cafés being in walking distance; just like in the Old World! Here you very seldom will find that.
Again, glad you showed us your adorable Burberry cap; just LOVE it and you look fabulous wearing it.
Today I wore my Escada red cashmere woolen duffle coat and I needed it.
Monday our Miele Dishwasher arrived and Pieter managed to build it in; it worked this time! Tuesday the other one got picked up and out of the way. Wednesday I drove with Pieter to Atlanta for stocking up at Costco, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. Lucky with the weather, some rain after lunch and even some 'first' sleet. No snow here in the South.
We had a lovely dinner last night with dear friends and their daughter. Heavenly food...
So there were some highlights this week!
Hugs and happy, cozy weekend with Mr. G.

Hmm, let me see if I can remember last week. Ah yes, Monday my wonderful Nina's Marie Antoinette tea arrived (leaves) and may I say again, thank you for introducing me to it (YUM). Got some packing done. Wednesday, the Marie Antoinette tea bags arrived. Good but like loose leaf better! Finally, finally got your goody box as completed as it is going to be (at least this time around, yay). Discovered a new awesome website, Boom by Cynthia Joseph dot com. She's pro age (a 64 year old model). I love pro-agers, people who believe in looking your best no matter what age we are. What else. That's about it for anything relatively (ha!) interesting! YOUR face is glowing - it looks so beautiful, especially with your beautiful smile. I still want to know what you wore to the play and what Chanel perfume you're sniffing!!!!
