The first week of July in North America is a joyous occasion ~ starting July 1st with Canada Day celebrations; followed by the 4th of July celebrations in the United States of America!
Of course the first week of July is also the official kick off into summer adventures for many people ...fireworks, picnics, BBQs, trips to the beach, road trips, kicking back in the backyard, visiting family and friends that live far away.

ReplyDeleteDearest Celia,
ReplyDeleteHAPPY CANADA DAY TO YOU BOTH!
Well, we're having lunch together with friends on the 4th of July and for the rest his week is normal. HOT and humid with today real feel of 44°C so you know how that will feel like... Too hot to bike, like we did on Sunday together.
Enjoy whatever you will be doing and hope summer will be good to you.
Love to you dear friend and stay well.
Mariette
We are on the countdown to the kids breaking up from school here, can't wait! Hope you are having a lovely weekend xxx
ReplyDeleteAahh yes, summer is my favorite season. We'll be going to the beach on the 4th, kicking back today since we're kind of far from Canada. Enjoy both holidays!
