HAPPY NEW YEAR.... What Are Your 2012 Plans?

The clock is about to strike MIDNIGHT ...

Before you know it ...a new year will be here with 12 months, 52 weeks or 365 days of new opportunities, beginnings and a blank canvas to waiting to write this chapter in your life.

Thank you to all the readers and followers of this blog who made 2011 an amazing year in BlogLand. I hope that my writing and posts will continue to inspire, motivate, help you as you face transition in your own life or have a loved one who is facing life detours, and make you laugh at times.

In 2012 I Plan to ...

~ Help Others -  by volunteering time with local organizations helping people to move forward in life

~ Make a difference in the life of a child- by looking into alternative parenting opportunities

~ Live the second life I've been gifted- by trying to not look at the life that has ended for me but instead to the life that waits to be written/created

~ Get back in shape- by eating healthy EVERYDAY and continue with a fitness program

~  Reduce the amount of toxins (and weight) that medication adds to my body - by looking at alternative methods as and adjunct to conventional medicine for all my pains and aches

~ Get back in the kitchen baking-  by accepting help around the oven/stove
( I tend to forget when something is on stove/oven)

~ Embrace living in the country - by sourcing local services, activities and social events

and getting a pair of these ...

What Are YOUR Plans for 2012?

  1. I need to start volunteering again too--it used to be a HUGE part of my life, but then things got busy and I neglected that part of me! I also need to get back in shape, not so much with an emphasis on losing weight (though I wouldn't mind losing a little), but more with an emphasis of being healthy!

  2. I haven't even thought about it! Probably get the house done, get everything organized and purged, build my business, make more contacts etc.

  3. Like your inspiring list!

    I plan on:

~ Get back into shape by walking and toning up.
    ~ Become more organized.
~ Save money for an upcoming trip to Italy
    ~ Continuing to volunteer

I am sure I have more aspirations than that, but these are the top 4.

    xoxo, A

  4. Haven't really thought about it in any great depth, but many are veer similar to yours;
    *get fitter
    *eliminate toxins without being obsessive,
*live more in the moment and embrace the now,
*have the courage to take my biz to the next level,
*work with a Coach (which I have been putting off all year ;-)
Wishing you all the best for 2012 Celia, and look forward to traveling the road with you during 2012 xx

  5. Bonjour mon ami! 2011 was quite a year and it seemed to fly by. Your blog has consistently been one of my favourite pleasures. You are truly an inspiration!
Thank you for your continual support and kind comments. As you mentioned, we must work hard to achieve our goals.
May 2012 bring you all you wish for. xoxo, B

  6. Dearest Celia,

First things will be to visit some dear friends far away (reachable by car!) and then fly to some other friends. Staying in touch with loved ones and dear friends, extended family. That is the fabric that weaves the total LOVE.
Hoping to get rid of some more medication as they are toxins for the body in a way. All have side effects and we want to eliminate that as much as possible, also saving our kidneys.
Thanks again for a wonderful year of interaction and great friendship! Stay the way you are and you indeed will inspire more and more others. The ripple effect is often not measurable right away.

Love to you both and Happy New Year!

    Mariette & Pieter as well...

  9. I haven't even thought about it Celia, but I definately recognize some of your plans that should/could be very well mine. I really have to get fitter and loose some of the weight. First step is a chat with the gynaecologist in February to get me off those horrible hormones argh. And find the discipline to go walking everyday, starting with a 10 minute walk and then doing more very gradually.
Hmmm I'll definately will make a 2012 plan.

Oh and I totally LOVE those wellies I need some to do some walking in the countryside here ;-)

Have a blessed New Year Celia!

    hugs

  11. Ugh. Every year I say I'm gonna get in shape. Wish you were closer so we could motivate each other. I think it's no longer an option but a must. Sick of feeling tired and flabby. Time to tighten up!! xoxo

  12. I haven't given a lot of thought to resolutions to be honest, the biggest thing for me will be do whatever I can to help people. You know how much I love intensely personal conversation and building trust with others.

I wish you and G a very Happy New Year and thank you for always supporting and inspiring me!

  17. Celia, this looks like a Sally List to me! :-) I wish you all the best as you start the new year with a clean slate ... and your inspired list.

2012 at My Place? I'm taking a little time to step back, reassess, and tackle my own Sally List.

  18. Your plans for next year sound pretty awesome! One thing I want to do is get back to the community service I have done in the past. I never make resolution's, but I plan to try to eat healthier. The holidays always make me over indulge in everything.

  19. What great goals for 2012 - we could all take a cue from your plans. I'm still mulling over 2012 resolutions, although I join you with the quest for more exercise and eating healthier. We're planning on a low-key New Year's Eve, spending time at home, maybe having friends over. We declined two black tie events because we just didn't feel like it this year. Happiest of New Years to you, my friend!

But of course, I have a sense of renewed energy and lots of hope for 2012. I love visiting your blog and feel blessed to read your sweet comments to my postings. May you have a wonderful new year. A big hug!
