Strolling Around Ottawa in Pink Tartan

I was recently in Ottawa for a speaking engagement and was happy that I brought along my Pink Tartan floral trench. It was a crisp morning as I walked to a local salon for a blow out.

With freshly washed and blown out hair, I'm ready to explore along Elgin Street.

This trench has become one of my favourite autumn wardrobe pieces. I managed to score it on sale in the summer and have been patiently waiting for the cool temps to arrive. It is beautifully lined and the back pleat is soft and flattering. And the floral soft pink and grey tones make it timeless.

Look at how convenient and space saving this trench packs up - whether for taking in your suit case or popping into your tote for those unpredictable early autumn days.
Are you a trench coat gal?

  1. Dearest Celia,
You still are, like you once were very much while traveling as an executive woman, a very savvy and stylish fashionista! LOVE that trench coat and it for sure did protect you enough from the chilly environment. Your hair is so soft and those pictures look like they're done for a fashion-shoot!
Wishing you both a very happy and relaxed Sunday and thanks for your visits.
    Hugs,
    Mariette

  2. No but I do admit that I love yours on you! It is hard for me to wear belted coats so I just don't! I need a straight line without interruption. I love the floral, tho - and the many poses showing off your gorgeous blown out hair!! So shiny and smooth - so well worth the trip to the salon. You look like a beautiful, healthy WALKING miracle.

  8. What a treat this post was. Lovely you in your trench and in your home-town. I'm enjoying pastels, and grays and printed coats for this fall, and this has it all! Great lesson on how a subdued print can be as big as it wants to be, and still work on a petite person. Perfect.

  9. Bonjour mon ami!! That is a perfect travel trench and I especially love that it's so compact and wrinkle free. I am a trench girl too and own several. I'm looking forward to crisp morning so I can bring them out... There is something about an autumn wardrobe that I love more than any other! ps: your blow-out looks gorgeous!
Wishing you a fabulous weekend! xoxo, B
