The Tulip Garden ...

The cool/damp temps have been preventing us from getting in the garden to start the spring clean up. But all changed last week, as you can see by the garden waste bags and piles of collected branches that came down through the winter.

The warmth of spring has sprung and one of the first gardens to bless us with Mother Nature's colourful paint brush is the tulip garden.

The birds and squirrels are enjoying their feast ...

Spring has arrived ....

  1. Hi Celia! How are you? I've been a bit crazy busy lately and haven't had a chance to visit my friends as often as I'd like, so many deadlines. I just love spring and all that it is ... even when I look at all the weeds I need to now pull! lol This weekend it cooled back down and I suddenly missed the warmth of this last week that was in the mid-70's here ... but the cool and damp weather of the weekend is to be shortlived (thankfully) and back to 85 degrees (F) next week. Beautiful photos ... tulips are one of my favorite flowers, just love how they look in a vase, bowing their heads over. Have a wonderful new week, lovely. xox ~S

  2. Dearest Celia,
What a lovely upscale bird feeder you have! That makes for happy feathered friends indeed. Is that tree not going to fall down one of these days? Hope nothing is in its way... We never know after heavy rains when the soil gets so soggy that the weight will give way to falling over.
Hope you had a happy Mother's Day for all the furry babies.
    Hugs to you,
    Mariette
