Autumn to Winter

Summer is becoming a memory ...

Though we are able to enjoy it's bounty....

And enjoy some the lingering warmth....

and the beauty of the colours on route ...

Soon we'll be making Angels in the snow...

How are you spending the remainder of the warm autumn days?

  1. Fabulous pictures, Celia!
When I rid myself of this bug, I'm going to start decorating for Christmas. Have a lovely day, my friend.

    Blessings,

  2. Well, here in Texas it really doesn't seem like autumn yet. It is 81 here today. We haven't had very many falling leaves as of yet. It will come but usually not until early December.

That is one aspect of the Midwest I have to admit I miss the change of the seasons. What I don't miss is shoveling all the snow! LOL

  3. Dearest Celia,

Wow, what a lovely post. Snow we will not see the way it is on the photo. We're working hard to get things in shape for winter and for being able to focus on living inside. Scanning photos and slides, I hope, this winter...
    Love to you,

    Mariette

  4. The only thing on my mind right now
    is Christmas decorations...
I have almost done my exterior decor and I'm waiting patiently for the 25 of November to do the inside of the house!
    As always lovely post...xo

  5. A beautiful introduction to the colder season. You make it sound so magical and inviting that I am now looking forward to it all. Today we had such a dreary grey start to the day but by lunchtime the sky was blue and you could see all the colours of autumn. It is truly a fabulous time of the year.
    Thank you.

  6. Pretty pictures!
We are having unseasonably warm days this week - around 68 or so. I am liking the warmth and am trying to wear my short sleeved tops and skirts with no tights before I can't any longer. xoxo, A

  8. We are still having summer days. Not much autumn except the leaves falling off the trees. This week it has been 82-85 degrees every day. Looks like winter is going to pass us by.
