Taking Time ...

With everything we have to do on a daily basis,
it's important to remember to take "ME" time. A day at the spa or a
retreat on your own or with some Besties is both relaxing and fun!!!

How do you take "ME" time and what do you and your
Besties do to spend quality time together?

Joining various linking parties .. check the Blog Hop tab and join in the fun.

  3. Those flowers in the footbath are gorgeous!

I agree with you ... "me time" is so important and for me, it works best if I have regularly scheduled time - that way the family gets used to it and no one puts up a big stink when I say, "It's my time" :)

  4. Oh the "me" time is so important ! I get out at least 2 times a week and meet with friends too. Most of the time with the kids though. It is very hard.
Hope you are having a great week ! Thank you so much for saying hi !

  5. My friends and I bring a snack and meet at someone's house for wine, food, and girl-talk.

On another note, I forced Scott to get a pedicure with me yesterday... he had to admit...BLISS.

Thank you so much for the card... I'm motivated to keep the You Tubes up for awhile anyway. It's so much easier and faster than blogging at the moment.

Now may I encourage you...write your story in book form. You may already be doing that, but I feel sure it would be a best-seller :)

  7. That looks lovely. I don't usually take "me" time unless I get sick... Probably from not taking "me" time.

  10. Have taken the time off from the blogging world as well. Just reading posts by others and indulging in time for my self before I begin an intense teaching schedule. I am actually stopping to smell the flowers!

  12. Dearest Celia,

That is great if you can have such a blissful moment with your friends together. Sometimes we manage to get together and just goof off, relaxing and sharing a meal together and of course a glass of wine. It cleanses the soul more than anything else. Wish we could find the time to do a spa together... that would be heaven!

    Lots of love,

    Mariette

  14. Hi sweet friend! I haven't been by lately...life has been crazy busy and there's no end in sight since I'll be gone for a long weekend and then my grandchildren (Eric's) will be here next week. Life is good though so I'm not complaining!

I could sure use some ME time at a spa...maybe soon.

I've enjoyed catching up with you tonight and seeing all your photos.

    Hugs,
    Kat

  15. I'm a big believer in "Teena-time" ... it could be something as simple as sitting alone reading.

  16. I agree! "Me time" is very important. I meet with girlfriends for breakfast, lunch, dinner or cocktails.. and spa days are a must. Sometimes I bring my daughter. Just today, she told me we needed a girls day out.
Wishing you a lovely weekend, dear friend. xoxo, B
