Attitude IV (for) Life...

Sometimes we fall off our high heeled lives, and as the saying goes

"Change your shoes
                         Change your life"

It's important to remember~ no matter the shoes we are wearing we remain the Director of our own Life!

We may have not written the script for our life,
but it is up to us how we live it!

During my blog posting intermission, I have tried to visit and will continue to pop in for visits to your blogs as time permits. Thank you to everyone who has left encouraging comments, sent inspirational notes and emails. Know that I'm working very hard to get some focus and balance, so that I can give back through my writing!!
Stay tuned ....

PS... check out the great Linking parties under my Blog Hop tab...

  1. Dearest Celia,

Thanks for your comment and also thanks for your email. That was not bad for the parcel to arrive in two weeks; could have been worse! But I'm glad you received your angel; my twin angel and they're out of production. I was as elated about mine as you probably are about yours. It is such a romantic gift to use... These are the little things for creating moments with a golden edge; to frame inside your heart forever.
Don't we all learn from the Japanese right now? How calm they are, not outraged, not screaming, no looting... They are teaching us a great lesson. I know they're very religious and respect life and anything that is on this world; they observe the details.
In July of 2007 I was in that harbor city of Sendai that is now hardest hit. We went shopping there with our five teenagers ages 15-16 on a cultural exchange with our sister city of Osaki. Tohoku we visited as there is the big YKK plant that is sponsoring this. Staying in the homes of the Japanese is a wonderful experience and it makes my heart ache seeing such devastation right in the area where we were... I had to flee Japan at that time one day earlier than planned; due to a typhoon. I moved heaven and earth to get my minors out, back to safety in the USA as there was an earthquake foretold as well. Having lived and worked in Indonesia, we know what the dangers are. That time they had an earthquake and a mini tsunami; not that much damage. We missed our day of shopping in Tokyo but that's not the end of the world! The parents hugged me for bringing their son/daughter safe back to American soil and I felt grateful. Only now, I come to realize what could have happened if we stayed longer as the original departure was cancelled already due to 2 holidays with mass traveling.
Sometimes we get lucky but one never knows! Let's keep in touch with our Creator as human beings are not up to handle this on their own... Let's learn from the Japanese as they are a devoted people!

    Lots of love,

    Mariette

  6. We all go through daily struggles in life. That is just the way it is and always will be. You have to dig deep and find the strength to make the best of each day. I am a firm believer, our lives are what we make it. Hang in there.

  18. Just found you on SITS and wanted to say hi. I too took an "intermission" from blogging, though it seems like your circumstances were a lot more compelling than mine. I just got scared of doing something I love.

Good luck climbing back in your director's chair. You can do it!
