The week on Resilientista Musings No. 2

In my post Make Space For the Life You Want - by Decluttering & Simplifying the Life You Have I wrote about how clutter is more than the stuff that fills your home, it's really anything that affects you physically and emotionally - stopping you from living the life you want. How many times have you said to your self "If only I lived in a bigger house/condo; had a bigger closet, bathroom (fill in the blank) - I would be able to get myself organized"? The truth is it's not that you necessarily need more space it's that you need to take a look at all the stuff that you no longer use but is taking up valuable real estate in your home and clear it out! Clutter creates stagnant energy, which blocks you from bring what you truly desire into your life. read more here

  2. Dearest Celia,
Again such a fuzzy, warm and cozy post that makes sense and saves cents for the upcoming cold(er) season.
Yes, de-cluttering is a very healthy thought. Often I ask myself the question, what IF... like getting an accident or whatever. Would we be pleased with the way we leave our things to others for cleaning out?! That often motivates you to go ahead and get rid of lots of things NOW.
Moving as often as we did and than remodeling the home by adding the Rose Suite also made us get rid of a lot of things.
But in a couple of years you would be surprised at what all you do bring home with you from shopping trips and travels... and there are also gifts received etc.
Sending you hugs for a blissful weekend à deux.
    Mariette
