Baby It's Cold Outside ...

It certainly has been a brrr ...... past couple of days here in Toronto.
Had to get out the snow boots. After all one can still look stylish  shoveling or walking in 2 FT of snow!!!

But where I like to be on cold days is inside looking out at the snow through the window curled up with a blanket reading.

I love my Restoration Hardware hot water bottle ... the cashmere cover keeps it warm longer and feels luxurious on my toes....

A snow day certainly is a good day for snuggling on the sofa - with blankets, hot water bottle and of course a tray of goodies....

My comfort tray ... hot chocolate infused with mint (will be sharing recipe on HHL facebook page this weekend .. so hope you are following along there); lemon cake from the local bakery and of course an oriental lily to remind me
spring is not that far off...

AND Furbabies ...

This is how I'm keeping warm ....

How about you ... How are you keeping warm?

You are the curator of your life so live it luxuriously ,

  1. Putting my cold feet between Alpha Hubby's legs in bed! He is good enough to keep the fireplace going in the living room. Hot lemon water or tea. Faux fur throw (so soft). And #1 is NOT GO OUTSIDE!! Ho ho ho!

  2. Dearest Celia,
That sounds like my own recipe. I took my Italian wool and cashmere stole/blanket with me on Saturday evening as I was feeling so cold. Of course sleep deprived for weeks now... but it is miserable and cold, frost at night and often that mean wind.
Looking forward to spring and sunshine to warm up!
Enjoy the coziness of your home and stay warm.
    Hugs and blessings,
    Mariette

  4. Celia, what a perfect way to spend a cold day! (Love your hot water bottle.) We've been cold here in East Tennessee, but very little snow. Daffodils are just beginning to pop through the ground... :-)
