Connecting With Your Higher Self -

Welcome to Over a Cup of Tea with Celia M.
Chakra Series ~  7 of 7

This week I have chosen this beautiful china teacup for its amethyst/violet colour which is the same color of our seventh chakra known as the Crown Chakra.

Seventh Chakra - The CROWN Chakra ~ aka  Sahasrara, is located at crown of your head. The Crown Chakra is associated with God (or your particular belief system), connection to the universe.

If the crown chakra becomes unbalanced, you may feel unconnected spiritually and as though you are living without any direction or purpose.  A blocked crown chakra can lead to depression and nervous system disorders and feelings of being lost and incomplete.

Symptoms of Imbalance:
Emotional : depression, confusion, loss of faith, mentally disconnected, dementia,

Physical :  light sensitivity, headaches, dementia, autoimmune disorders, neurological disorders,  (the crown chakra affects the health of our brains and therefore our entire mental, physical, and spiritual health).

Three simple ways to help balance your Crown Chakra:

~ Meditation is a great tool to help balance the crown chakra: Imagine a golden light is illuminating the space just above your head and surrounding the top (crown) of your head (think of images of angels with their golden halos). Close your eyes and feel this glow illuminating and recharging both your physical body and your spirit.

Steep a cup of white tea buds and leaves, tangerine, orange and lotus petals and as you sip your tea repeat the following affirmations:

I am balanced between earth and heaven
I am connected with God
I am complete and one with the divine energy
I walk the path of enlightenment

Sit comfortably, feet flat on the ground, close your eyes and visualize a amethyst/violet ball spinning just above the top of your head- feel the vibration and motion of it spinning, gently breath in and out - with each breath the disc/ball becomes stronger and spins at a consistent speed smoothly and balanced.

Benefits of balancing and opening the CROWN chakra: achieving a deep, spiritual connection within ourselves, the universe, and God.

This concludes the Over a Cup of Tea Chakra Series, I hope you have enjoyed reading along and learning about the role your chakras play in a balanced lifestyle.

  4. Dearest Celia,
This was one very nice series ending with such a lovely way of writing it à la Celia style.
Yes, we need to find more calmness and unite with God and the universe.
I'm looking forward to a calmer life after this week. Our new Internet is all set up, files moved and notifications made. Also I did weed out a lot of contacts and such that don't add anything to our lives.
So with a fresh start we will go forward next week. And lo and behold, the tilemen did show up early this morning so this week that project will see its completion. But sad is that Pieter did work so hard before the weekend for bringing out all our potplants and now we suddenly get frost mention for tomorrow night; -2°C. So I keep my fingers crossed that we will not loose any of our tropicals. No way they can be brought back in and out again; that is a killing job for the back... By the way, my check up this morning at the doctor was better than last time. I'm hoping that with more meditation, walking, biking and exercise I can get rid of my last 5 mg of medication for high blood pressure!
    Hugs and love to you,
    Mariette

    1. Dearest Mariette; I'm so happy to read of your great appointment at the doctor!!! Keeping you and thought and prayers that your health is better than good. You are doing all the right things. Sending a little angel request to keep your beautiful plants safe - better yet that the temps remain warm - they give so much not only to you and Pieter but to all those who get to see them via photos you share on your blog.
So, happy that the tile men are coming ... contractors can really drag out a project at times. the temps are still slightly below zero here, but expected to start climbing later this week. Many hugs and blessings to you both. C.
