First THANK YOU, with all my heart to everyone who left a comment or sent an email with encouraging words of wisdom, support and inspiration in response to my previous post. Each and everyone one of you contributed to giving me strength to turn the final page of the Chapter that was my pre-accident life.
The next Chapters in my life have patiently been waiting.....
And may you too, be writing your next page or chapter in this amazing thing we call LIFE!
See you soon ...
With the support of various psychologists, rehab team and you wonderful readers in my post accident journey I`m learning it`s OK to go back and re-read a paragraph or two. But to continue on it`s best to keep these re-read visits short and quickly get back to living as that is the only way this current draft is going to turn into a solid Chapter as good or better than the ones I have already lived.
The next Chapters in my life have patiently been waiting.....
To be written!

I can't wait to read! xo
ReplyDeleteWe all need to turn a page and write a new chapter once in awhile, I'll be watching.
ReplyDeleteDearest Celia,
ReplyDeleteYes, we all are trying to write page by page. Pieter literally did finish the chapter of his life as he has finished writing in his thick hard cover book about his life, for daughter Liz. Over 200 pages with stories, neatly done in fountain pen. As you wrote, we did re-read many old chapters, which is good especially for mourning a last brother. But now it's written down and we must move on. There are still new pages to be turned and filled in with loved ones and friends. With the guidance of our angels we will!
Hugs to you,
Mariette
Hi Celia! Just like you I cannot wait to write the next chapter of my life. My last one just ended recently and I am sick to my stomach about it. Stop by my blog when you have time and read about it. Maybe you can share some uplifting words of wisdom to me because I really need it.

Celia,
ReplyDeleteYou have such an amazing outlook on life. I like the top quote..if you don't turn the page, you'll never know. So true. Life is a journey and there comes a time when each of us must face difficulty or tradegy. Looking forward to reading more:)

Celia,
ReplyDeleteAs you know the last year has been one of the most challenging of my life. It has not ended yet, so I need prayers that my hip will heal. I applaud you; you are much stronger than you think!
I am staying as positive as possible, looking at ways to help others, reading, painting, and looking forward to starting rehab over (again)!!Sometimes circumstance thrust upon us; can change our lives for the good! You go girl!

Good for you! I think we are all writing the next chapter...even if we don't realize it!
ReplyDeleteHello Celia
ReplyDeleteI think you have a more positive outlook on life than you realize and that some people may not have even achieved yet!
Cheers to you.

Dearest Celia,
ReplyDeleteJust had to come back to you... Especially today. Would love to hold you and protect you from that dreadful moment when all that once was ended... There must be a higher purpose in life and everything has a reason, one that we not yet can grasp. I also believe in angels and in something after this earthly life. What happened to the driver that hit you? Did they ever find hem/her?... Just pondering and wondering even more how they could move on with their lives without bothering.
Tight hugs to you,
Mariette
